About Me

Karenna Foley is a sophomore from Kent Island, MD studying Theatre at the University of Maryland. Her interests include musical theatre, voice over, and music production. She intends to research and expand her skillset in the world of creative production through different aspects of the process, such as writing, performing, and editing. After graduation with her bachelor’s degree, Karenna plans to work as an actor, whether in musical theatre productions, or video game performance capture. She wants to be a part of a team of storytellers and create new worlds.

As a College Park Arts Scholar, Karenna intends to use her culminating Capstone project to practice and explore her interests in creative production through new skills like creative writing and technical design. She is excited to become more familiar with the performing arts scene in the College Park, MD and D.C. area, and learning about the industry through entertainment career talks and opportunities at the Clarice. Her academic goals include expanding her resume through theatre tech and performance experience in order to graduate and dive into the entertainment industry.
